Take a look at these architect renderings of the proposed school and the land as it currently stands. As you can see, the Saber y Gracia team has big plans for Rudi’s family farm. Some day soon, it will be fertile ground for planting life-changing seeds in the lives of thousands of students!
Would you like to have Rudi or Lauren visit your church, organization, or small group? Perhaps you can host them during their next visit to the US! Email Lauren8482@hotmail.com to ask about their upcoming travels.
While I was with Saber y Gracia, I gave some of the students a chance to share what was on their heart so World Next Door readers could pray for them. Here’s what they had to say.
Josúe – 7th Grade
Pray for Josúe’s parents, who are going through a difficult time. He is very concerned they may be on the road to separation.
Selena – 7th Grade
Selena said, “God has done great things for me recently,” but she admitted that her family has been going through many trials. Pray for her father, in particular.
Abner – 7th Grade
Pray for Abner’s family, which has been facing many economic problems recently, causing lots of arguments and fighting among them.
José – 11th Grade
José told me his family is in the middle of a “storm of problems.” He asks for prayer that the relationship between his separated parents would be better and that his father would have an encounter with God where Jesus would touch his heart.
Gisel – 11th Grade
Gisel wants to learn who God is. She wants to see him in a different way. She has been through many difficult things, doesn’t know her purpose, and finds it hard to communicate with God. She wants God to heal the open wounds in her heart. (Note: a week after telling me this, Gisel gave her life to Christ at the high school retreat, Campamento!)
Iveth – 11th Grade
- Iveth is going through a lot of difficult things right now. Her parents separated six years ago, and she misses her father’s love (although she pointed out that God has been filling the emptiness). Pray also for her mom who is very sick right now and is struggling to care for Iveth’s four other siblings.
Jordan – 5th Grade
Jordan’s father is a pastor. He asks for prayer that his father would find new strength every day.
Isabel – 5th Grade
Pray for Isabel’s parents, who are in the US. They are trying to get settled, but do not speak English, which has caused many problems.
Kevin – 5th Grade
Pray for Kevin’s brother, Diego, who is quite sick, his grandfather who has cancer, and his mother, who takes care of everyone but recently broke her finger.
