Tiny Hands International

Tiny Hands is a Christ-centered non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the poor through partnership with the local Church. They are particularly called to orphans, street children, and the victims of the sex-trafficking industry. Their primary activities include children’s homes, anti-trafficking initiatives, and aftercare for victims of trafficking.

Tiny Hands partners with locally registered NGOs to take abandoned, orphaned, or neglected kids and place them in loving, Christ-centered homes. By keeping homes small and raising up dedicated house parents, Tiny Hands hopes to prevent child homelessness and give vulnerable children every opportunity to lead healthy, successful lives.

Dream Center

The “Dream Center” is a vision for a community of children’s homes, a school, and an outreach center, where volunteers and friends of Tiny Hands can come and participate in an active, thriving community of believers. Here they can live, learn, and serve together as followers of Christ. Land has been purchased outside of Pokhara, Nepal, where they are beginning to build the first homes.

Tiny Hands believes human trafficking is one of the greatest injustices of our day. They have established more than 10 border stations across Nepal to identify and stop victims and traffickers before they reach India. Subcommittees formed through local church partnerships have dramatically improved the community awareness, investigation efforts, rescue rate, and prosecution of the criminals.

Tiny Hands works to ensure that victims of trafficking stopped at the border are given the physical, emotional and spiritual support they need.

  • Safe Homes at the border stations have been established where victims can be kept safe, where further investigation can occur if needed, and where arrangements for returning the girl to a safe environment can be made.
  • The Women’s Empowerment Center provides poor and marginalized women, who are at-risk for sexual exploitation, both housing and the tools to become financially independent, while experiencing the love and support of a Christ-centered community.
