World Next Door is currently searching for volunteers interested in joining the following positions:

  • Event Project Manager (2-3 hours/week) – We need someone skilled in event planning, volunteer coordination and administration to help us in our various events throughout the year.  Must live in the Indianapolis area.
  • Travel Agent (1-2 hours/week) – We need a travel agent to help us book flights, plan trips and make the most of our frequent flyer miles!
  • Social Media Gurus (2-3 hours/week) – As we develop our marketing volunteer team, we are looking for social media savvy volunteers willing to help us keep our online presence fresh and engaging.
  • Financial Administrator (2-4 hours per week): We need the impossible: someone who loves data entry!  This volunteer should be familiar with accounting practices, good with numbers and willing to help us with fundraising admin. Must live in the Indianapolis area.
  • Grant Seeking Team (2-3 hours per week):  Volunteers for this team should be motivated, energetic and experienced in writing grant applications.  They should also be prepared to creatively explore grant opportunities outside of normal avenues.

All World Next Door volunteers must be willing to check their email at least once a day to ensure swift communication with traveling journalists.
