World Next Door

World Next Door is currently searching for volunteers interested in joining the following positions:

• Summer Intern (June and July, 2010): Are you a young, passionate writer who wants a life-changing experience around the world?  Well we have an opportunity for you.  Head over to our internships page for more information!
• Grant Writing Team (2-3 hours per week):  Volunteers for this team should be motivated, energetic and experienced in writing grant applications.  They should also be prepared to creatively explore grant opportunities outside of normal avenues.
• Indianapolis Area Event Coordinator (2-3 hours per week):  This volunteer should be highly motivated, highly organized and highly creative.  We need someone who can help organize events, oversee invitations and most importantly, think outside of the box!  He or she must live in the Indianapolis area (or the surrounding suburbs).
• Graphic Design Team (1-2 hours per week):   Do you love graphic design?  Are you passionate about eye-popping visuals?  Are you interested in making a difference with your design skills?  Then you might be just what we’re looking for.  Our graphic design volunteers must be skilled in working with Photoshop (or equivalent software) and willing to work with deadlines.
• Grace Community Church Frontline Sponsor (2-4 hours per week): For this volunteer position, we are looking for someone both highly invested in World Next Door and deeply rooted at Grace Community Church (Noblesville, IN).  He/she will represent WND to GCC and will help to coordinate communication and events between our organization and the church.

All World Next Door volunteers must be willing to check their email at least once a day to ensure swift communication with traveling journalists.
