The Nepal Issue

It’s here! The December issue of World Next Door Magazine is finally available for download (click here to grab the app on iTunes).

This month, we travel to the beautiful nation of Nepal to encounter the work of a truly remarkable organization, Tiny Hands International. Tiny Hands is working tirelessly to combat the sex trafficking industry by caring for marginalized, at-risk children and seeking justice for trafficking victims through border interceptions and prosecutions of traffickers.

A fantastic feature piece by our year-long fellow, Brooke Hartman.

Brooke’s heartfelt feature pieces shed light on the phenomenal work being done in Nepal, while Jeff’s first-hand account of going undercover in a brothel is harrowing, to say the least!

This issue is truly stunning.

This issue is truly stunning.

Of course, it wouldn’t be World Next Door if it wasn’t for some hilarious, thought-provoking, and eye-catching material too. You don’t want to miss the incredible Himalayan photos our duo took on their 10 day mountain trek. Jeff’s description of the Kumari, Nepal’s living child goddess, is mind-blowing. Oh, and let’s not forget the adorable baby monkeys!

Long story short, this month’s issue is one of our favorites. If you’ve ever had an interest in exploring Nepal, now’s your chance! It may not be quite as exciting as going there yourself, but hey… there’s a lot less oxygen depravation this way.
