The seventh issue of World Next Door Magazine is live! This month we visit the newest country in the world: South Sudan.

This month’s claim to fame? It’s the first issue to be completely written and photographed by an individual instead of a team (yours truly in this case). This will become a normal thing as we move forward (the Hartmans in Nepal, Brad in Bangladesh), but this one’s our first.

In this month’s issue you can see what a South Sudanese marketplace looks like, learn a bit of the Dinka language, and read what I discovered after a three-day road trip which quickly qualified as the most uncomfortable I’d ever been.

Of course, no World Next Door magazine would be complete without some deep and powerful stories of hope from the frontlines of God’s kingdom revolution, and those are here as well. My favorite story? The one where a refugee street kid goes on to start a ministry which has touched the lives of hundreds. Oh yeah. It’s a good one.

So what are you waiting for? Download the magazine (click here for iOS, Android or Kindle Fire) and get the issue for FREE!
