Hello All!

I have two quick (but important) updates for you.  If you’d like to get updates like these from our monthly newsletter, feel free to sign up today!

One Year Anniversary Party/Benefit

As you may already know by now, next Friday, February 26, is our much anticipated First Anniversary Party and Benefit from 6:30pm-9:00pm at the office of The Heavyweights at 1010 N Capital Ave, Suite A100, Indianapolis, IN  46204 (click here for a map).

People are already buzzing about it, and I can’t say that I blame them.  International hors d’ouevres? All fresh-squeezed juices?  Live artwork?  A photo gallery?  Live music by Sarah Scharbrough???  Not to mention a wicked-cool silent auction…

It’s going to be awesome!

If you’d like to get more details or to RSVP, head over to the event’s Evite page.

New Internship Application Deadline

Due to the unexpected earthquake in Haiti and the fact that I just got back on Saturday, we have decided to push back the deadline for summer internship applications until next Wednesday, February 24.

Haven't heard about the internship yet? Click the image to check out our "internships" page!

Several applications have already been turned in, but for those of you who didn’t get them in on time, there is still a chance to apply!  Or if your brilliantly gifted nephew with a passion for travel and other cultures is also a bit lazy, you now have a few more days to twist his arm…

Also, and I’ll just be honest with you here, almost all of the internship applicants so far have been girls.  Which is great.  Girls are awesome at this stuff.  But if you know any guys who might be a good fit with WND, please encourage them to apply.

I mean, for real.  Where are the dudes?

Well, that’s it for now.  If you have any questions, comments or ideas, don’t hesitate to send them our way!  info@worldnextdoor.org
