I want it to be now! But then remind myself this is not a movie or a 3 minute story I see on CNN, this is the horrific reality for thousands of people. Why them? Why not me? I sit snug and warm in my house made of bricks tonight. My puppy just had his vaccinations today. He doesn't have to worry where his next meal is coming from (my dog, not my child!). My 5 year old has a fever and a cough. After taking bubblegum-flavored medicine, she only wants to sit on my lap and snuggle. Why is she the "privileged" one? sorry for rambling....I just want to scream in frustration. I want to be there, grab a shovel and start doing something to help.
