Amazing photos and story! The kite and the mp3 photos made me tear up even more than the sad captions, I think because they show the hope that is still with the Haitians, even through the horrors. My prayers are with you and all of the people. Thank you for sharing.

Barry I'm stirred up deep. Thanks for sharing your eye and your voice here. Thanks for the glimpse into the life, hardship and hope, of our brothers and sisters in Haiti.

The boy in the plaid shirt in picture 11 will haunt me for a long time. His face is so young, but his eyes look so old and tired. I can only imagine the horrors he's seen...

Barry, Thank you for bringing Haiti to us when it can feel like worlds away. May the faces and stories of these photos stay on our minds, in our prayers, and through our actions, compelling our hearts to remain with Haiti even when the news reports will inevitably begin to "move on."

rather speechless at the moment. so many thots. so many emotions. smiles to tears to unfathomable admiration for the "Godly stubbornness" that keeps many of these individuals putting one foot in front of the other. Those beautiful, beautiful faces. I was especially struck by the elderly woman and the caption regarding lost friends. Space for so much sadness yet a choice ....a decision to be filled with something bigger and better.

Thank you Barry -
