For kids growing up in the midst of poverty, gangs and hopelessness, Shepherd Community Center is offering them a second chance at life…
- Head over to Shepherd Community Center's website to learn more about their program for middle school students.
- Make a donation to Shepherd to help keep their programs running (click here).
- Shepherd wants to expand their after-school program, but can only do so if they acquire another bus or passenger van. Do you have any connections or vehicles that could help? Email Mimi Wacker with your ideas!
- Pray for the students of Shepherd Community Center's middle school program and their leaders. Pray that Shepherd would continue to break the cycle of poverty in their lives!

Those were awesome! I can hardly believe the 7th and 8th graders ran the half marathon with us! I wish I would have known before the race! What a benchmark day for those kids. I am so proud of them!
