Photo Gallery: Safari!
Posted Jul 06 in Photo Galleries by 6 Comments
So sorry for the lack of posts this weekend. Our team was taking our mid-trip Safari. On the bright side, we have a few pictures for you to enjoy!
For those of you fluent in Swahili, I should clarify. The word “safari” means “journey” in English. So technically we were taking a safari to “Safari,” and by that I mean, we were driving around looking at animals.
Um, maybe I should just let you enjoy the pictures.
The initials after each picture indicate who took the picture.

Great pictures guys. Sure is different than trying to NOT get stuck in the mud on our 2005 safari. God’s creativity is evident in every shot. Thank so much for sharing.

Barry, you saw giraffes in Africa?!?!
(I am not sure how to communicate that he was kind of asking you and mostly just excited about it)

Nothing like up close and personal! Wow! Great shots. Who cares about bad hair when you are experiencing God’s amazing world. Stay safe and well.

oh, the lions eating the carcass was definitely my favorite shot…what beautiful surprise picture to discover in the gallery.
I’m guessing you only drove by and the electric fence hindered any contact (in Thailand they let you ride the elephants, just saying) but good job on getting some close shots. God makes some pretty awesome (and cute) animals.
